The following positions are available for next year:
Door-to-Door Membership Drive Chair: leads efforts to organize and execute our August membership drive. Responsibilities include coordinating volunteers, managing logistics, and overseeing the event to ensure its success. The membership drive typically takes place during the second week of August. *This position needs to be filled as soon as possible.
Showcase Decorating: leads efforts to decorate the band showcase in the old main entrance.
Marching Band Uniform Support: This position assists the lead uniform coordinator with maintaining uniforms during the marching season, helps with Friday game pre-check, and assists with uniform fittings during band camp. In addition, provides support when needed to lead coordinator and will help pack uniforms for the Disney trip.
Ballroom Blitz Chair: oversees the planning and execution of our annual Ballroom Blitz fundraising event. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics such as food, decor, ticket sales, and event promotion to ensure its success as a critical fundraiser for our music programs. The Blitz takes place in the spring.
High School Dress Chair: manages the dresses worn by our high school students for performances and events. Responsibilities include coordinating fall fittings, managing inventory, and ensuring students have proper attire for concerts and events.
Social Media Coordinator: This position manages the Bay Music Boosters’ presence on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram to help promote events, celebrate student achievements, and keep the community informed. Responsibilities include posting event updates and reminders, sharing photos from performances, promoting fundraisers, and managing a shared Google Drive for families to upload pictures.
Middle School Blazer Chair: This role oversees the distribution and maintenance of blazers and ties worn by our 8th-grade band students. It requires minimal time, with a one-time blazer fitting in the fall and ensuring students are outfitted appropriately for their performances.
