End of Year Band Events

The May 20th Band Concert (symphonic and concert band) starts at 6:30pm due to Senior recognition and year long band awards.  The actual concert will begin around 7:05pm. Concert Band attendance time is 6:00pm. Symphonic Band attendance time is 6:15pm.

The Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 26th has an attendance time of 7:45am at BHS.  The students need khaki pants (no shorts allowed), Their band polo, and white socks/dinkles.  This is a great way for us to support those who have served in our armed forces.  We will march over to Huntington Beach, where the parade begins, and then make our way to Lakeside Cemetery for a ceremony.  The parade will then continue down Lake road and finish at Cahoon park gazebo.  The boosters will have some snacks for the kids, and seniors need to turn in their polos.  After that they are free to go home.  There will not be transportation back to the HS.  I will be at the HS shortly after the parade ends for only a few minutes for anyone who would like to return their instruments after the parade.  Otherwise they can bring it to school the next day.  Large instruments such as the Sousaphones and percussion will be thrown on the trailer at the gazebo and brought back.

Graduation band attendance time is 6:15pm on June 2nd.  This involves all freshman through Junior band members.  Dress for this event is Khaki pants and white button down dress shirt.
